Da Vinci Dull Movie

Variety magazine joins other critics in calling the movie version of The Da Vinci Code boring.
The conservative Christian journal World magazine reviews the movie and says that in addition to being boring, it tones down the anti-Christian rhetoric of the book.
Has anybody seen the movie yet? What did you think?

Maybe that's why it's boring.

Maybe. Although I have not seen the movie (and I don't intend to, since I've already ready the library copy of the book, and I don't plan to put any money in Dan Brown's pocket) what I understand from the movie reviews is that it's boring because they have too much dialogue and not enough action.

You can't be jumping on the side of the people who think that way, Brother Bob. Perhaps it's boring to some people because of the lack of mindless action, and I realise that the critisism is good for your point, but perhaps is an intellectual's movie, like the book was billed as being.

Could be. I'm just reporting what the reviewers said. Like I said, I have not seen the movie myself.
